Fast forward to today, and the GTI badge has become a global sensation, adorning a staggering 2.8 million vehicles. But here’s the heart-racing news: there’s an electric incarnation of the GTI legacy, revving into the scene in 2026, as Mindt passionately declared.
As if that weren’t enough to make a GTI fan shiver, Mindt also treated us to a sneak peek with a side-by-side sketch of the OG GTI and the futuristic ID.GTI concept.
